About Me

I am a dreamer by nature, and perhaps that is why stories find their way to me. I believe life is a vast treasure trove of wonders; all it takes is the right perspective to see the magic in the mundane. My world is built on a foundation of positivity and the beautiful roles I get to play—as a woman, a daughter, a wife, a mother and a corporate employee. Writing is my sanctuary, a quiet corner where I can breathe life into my thoughts. I may not always be regular with my pen, but when I write, I share a piece of my soul. Welcome to my space; I hope you find a bit of yourself in my words. If a poem or a story touches your heart, I’d love to hear from you in the comments!

Parenting alone - Day 2

Date : 14th Jan 2014

Yippy it’s a holiday today. I am very happy to shut the alarm’s mouth. Today is our day, just the way we want as there is no rush to follow the “in time” strategy. So we enjoy sleeping till late and could get up from bed only by 8.30 am after some pillow throwing fun and laughter in bed.

We decided to make a quick, hot and delicious Maggie for the breakfast. Aaru already offered his help and gladly agreed upon. He pulled the chair and adjusted near the induction so as to instruct me how to make Maggie. He tells me how much water the pot needed, when to add Maggie and the taste maker. He further guides me to stir carefully so that Maggie should not break into small pieces and he can be able to roll the long noodles into his fork. I wonder how much carefully kids notice our work that one day they surprise us copying the same act in accurate way we do it. I loved pretending to be unaware to the whole act and I found my Master chef smiling being smart. Finally I learn making it and later we enjoyed Maggie together.

As it’s “Makar Sankranti” the festival we celebrate in Maharastra by exchanging Til Gul and say “Til Gul ghya god god bola”. I get today’s pooja done by Aaru. I explain him about this festival and tell him some of my childhood stories. The fun and enjoyment we used to have on this day. He listens it all with great interest and then asks many questions..Uff I am tired answering him at last. This afternoon as he finishes his home work I fulfilled my promise watching “Stuart little” movie together and he simply loved it. :)

In evening he play with his friends in the nearest park and I get my time scribbling some poems on paper and post them across on my blog. In the mean time I also chat with hubby and get his updates.

2nd day ends with no troubles at all. It’s kinda benefit of having a sweet son like Aaru but I really wish he should do lot more masti and enjoy his childhood at the fullest. But his small funny things force me to smile and I forget all my worries.

Thanks for being with me my little man!!! I so love you…

With a sweet note we get back to bed. Time for some bed time tales…

Stay Happy, Stay Bless !
Keep smiling, Keep loving!

Snehal :)

Let go…

You feel divest
You feel lonesome
You feel shattered
For the one who cannot be yours…

She broke…
Your dreams
Your heart
Promises made
She left never to come back…
Still you keep waiting for her return

Dear why dont you just
Forgive
Forget
And let go
The burden of memories

Get up,
Clear your sky from from the teary clouds
Let the sunshine light up your way

Fill the pages of life
With some positive goals
Fill the glass of life
With full of energy
Fill up the gap of the broken heart
With the much awaited love

Win over the closed chapter,
Take another chance and start anew

Yet again,
Learn to live
Learn to love
Learn to let go......

What Parenting Is !!!

Parenting…
A process to unlearn and relearn
A technique to learn new skills
A self made class to be patient

Parenting…
Be a part of her small world
See through her eyes and learn
Experience your childhood with her
Be prepared for everyday new learning

Parenting…
Is about shaping up your little one with most delicate hands
Is about developing good habits in her
Is about giving her moral and ethics from self cooked stories
Is about giving as much as you can to bring out best of her

Parenting…
To let him grow
To let him enjoy his childhood without any boundaries
To let him fall and learn to get up immediately

Parenting…
Smiles and some more smiles to see your child growing
To plant kisses and caresses even when she sleeps
To stay awake nursing her when she falls sick
To pray for his unending happiness and good health.

Parenting…
To review your report card with her development
To polish your skills as and when required
To be friends with her when she needs support
To hug her, cuddle her when she gets hurt
To assure her silently, that yes, you gonna be with her
Now and forever

MY wish…..

I wish this night ends never
And it would last forever
I wish to rest in your arms
And feel protect like never before

I wish the sky twilight
And witness my surrender
I wish to unfold my feelings
And beneath myself render

Sometimes, I wonder

Sometimes, I wonder
How it would be
To meet you one day.
To see your joyful face
To see your pretty smile
To hear your voice
To see your deep dark eyes

Sometimes, I wonder
How it would be
To share the same cup of coffee
To hold your soft hand
To sit next to you that close
To feel your fragrance

Sometimes, I wonder
How it would be
To lay down in your lap
To listen your heartbeats
To feel your every breath
To enjoy the silence

Sometimes, I wonder
How it would be
To take you to a far off land
To sit and watch sunset with you
To talk all night long
To start with you to never stop

Sometime, I wonder
How have we became inseparable
How we understood unspoken words
How we became one-heart one-soul

Sometime, I wonder
How we fall in love even before we met…

ME...By my side

I cry
I sob
I sink into tears
But, he refuses to see…

I recall
I realized
I feel guilty for the past mistakes
But, he doesn’t react

I crave
I am left alone
I am taken for granted
But, he shuts his ears

I beg
I say “sorry”
I promise to improve
But, he doesn’t trust my words

I feel lost
I feel broken
I feel shattered
But, he is still not bother

Finally,
I wipe my tears
I console myself
I hear my inner voice

I choose to stand by my side

I choose to be Happy and just move on…..
